How the process works

  1. 1

Tell us what you have — upload photos and a short description; we'll confirm which of our specialists is the right fit.

  2. 2

Written quote — a matching upholsterer sends an itemised written quote, with fabric suggestions if you'd like them.

  3. 3

Fabric or COM — pick from the fabric library or send your own fabric (COM); we'll confirm exact metreage.

  4. 4

Workshop or on-site work — most pieces come into the workshop; larger built-in items and commercial jobs are done on site.

  5. 5

Return & aftercare — the finished piece is delivered or reinstalled, with a workmanship guarantee where the workshop offers one.

Other — frequently asked questions

What sort of pieces do you cover?
Almost anything with fabric on it — bar and counter stools, church pews and pew cushions, garden swings and hammocks, hotel bed valances, boat interiors, camper cushions, tractor and vintage vehicle seats, cinema and pub bench seating, and one-off bespoke commissions.
How much will my job cost?
Because 'Other' covers such a wide range, pricing is always by written quote. Send a few photos and dimensions and you'll get an itemised quote back — no cost, no obligation.
Can I bring my own fabric?
Yes — customer's own material (COM) is welcome on almost every job. Tell us what your piece is and we'll confirm the metreage before you order.
Do you take on repairs and partial recovers?
Yes. Small repairs — a torn seat pad, a broken zip, one damaged cushion — are all worth quoting. It's usually cheaper than replacing the piece and keeps a well-loved item in service.
Do you do commercial and hospitality work?
Yes. Bar stools, hotel headboards, boat interiors, church seating and one-off contract pieces are all part of what our specialists do — with contract-grade and fire-retardant fabrics where required.
